When you upload an image to the resizer tool, it is sent to our server, resized in memory, and returned to you. The image is never written to disk and never stored. It is discarded as soon as the resized output is delivered. We have no copy of your image after the request completes.
Your IP address is used in-memory to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. It is also written to server logs on disk for security purposes. Server logs are retained for up to 14 days and then permanently deleted. IP addresses are not shared with any third party.
We use Ahrefs Analytics to understand how the site is used. Ahrefs Analytics is cookie-free and does not collect personal data. It records page URLs, referrer, browser and device type (from user agent), and approximate country/city. IP addresses are used only to derive location and count unique visitors — they are hashed with a rotating daily salt and never stored in raw form. This data is processed by Ahrefs according to their own privacy policy.

Thumbalyzer does not use cookies. The Ahrefs Analytics script we use is also cookie-free and does not set or read any cookies in your browser.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because uploaded images are never stored and IP-based logs are purged within 14 days, in practice there is little persistent data to act on. To make a request or ask a question, email [email protected].

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Thumbalyzer after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
